From Breisach you can travel by bus to Colmar (France).
Attention: the KONUS Guest Card is not valid in France!

in Waldkirch: Schwarzwaldzoo, Elztalmuseum (focus on organ construction), hiking, strolling about
possible from Denzlingen Station every 30 minutes taking the "Breisgau S-Bahn"
by bus or car (parking at the station) to Denzlingen. Attention: when travelling from Denzlingen to the valley of Elztal, sometimes change in Waldkirch from train to bus is necessary!

possible from Freiburg Central Station by train to Basel / Baden station.

possible by train every hour from Denzlingen to Offenburg via Freiburg; direct and permanent train connection Offenburg — Strasbourg; the KONUS Guest Card is valid tos Kehl; from Kehl you need an additional ticket, available at the ticket offices or the ticket machines.

Bus Connections: Glottertal - Kandel duration of travel when directly to Mount Kandel: 30 minutes; duration of travel when via St. Peter: 40 minutes plus stay in St. Peter

former Benedictine monastery with baroque church and rococo library, pilgrims' church "Maria Lindenberg" (wonderful lookout platform), starting place of hiking tours, e.g. St. Peter - Glottertal, St. Peter - Mount Kandel, St. Peter - St. Märgen/Thurner/Hinterzarten and from there back by bus. Or from St. Peter by bus to St. Märgen and Hinterzarten.
From Hinterzarten by train (”Höllentalbahn”) to Freiburg. From Freiburg by train to Denzlingen and from there by bus to Glottertal.
